Objectivism vs Spiritualism

One very close family friend expired. He was not even forty and had a massive heart attack.

He was what Ayn Rand's philosophy says "Objectivist". He had a vision to start a company of his own and take it to new heights. He was the chairman of this and had risen to success, like anything in very less time! and this was the end of it....

Isn't it all very meaningless at the end of the day? Living life with passion? what you really want to do against all the odds...the odds result in so much odd stress and physical trauma..in high blood pressure, in losing that very life?

It's all so heroic to do it! To live the way you want it to...whatever may come, just do it...make money, make fame , make love, make kids....And after so much of making, it just vanishes. The soul just gets tired of the exhausted body and leaves?? It all ends?

Probably this is the reason Vedas had 4 Ashramas of life...Brahmacharya, Grihastha, Vanaprastha, Sanyasa...They had realized that you cannot keep doing the same thing the whole life...you have to know that nothing’s “endless”...we have maintained the first 2, but probably can’t think of anything equivalent to Vanaprastha or Sanyasa...

May be if we can define life stages and know consciously the meaning and reason of our living, it will help...We'll realize Karma, we'll realize what's what and act accordingly...We neither come with anything , nor we take anything from here...either it's all show off in between... Or... It's all to utilize and understand what humans are capable of...which is justifiable...maybe we need to resume back to our old theories of life, to live as it will actually result in pleasure, Objective when you will treasure objectivism and u know that this is not what you will do "endlessly"...money is not what u need to even save for pension! And when you finish off with that phase, connect with God...many ppl will mistaken this with religion..this is nothing related to religion..its only about connecting with God(The One Soul of which we all are a part of), meditating, chatting with God, making your soul feel good! And understanding the true meaning of Love...

We need to realize that it's not our body, but our soul which is driving everything ! Even our love for objectivism and our ego for life....

And I dunno why I feel remembering Bob Dylan here, as he sang...

How many roads must a man walk down
Before you call him a man?
Yes, n how many seas must a white dove sail
Before she sleeps in the sand?
The answer, my friend, is blowin in the wind,
The answer is blowin in the wind.

How many times can a man turn his head,
Pretending he just doesnt see?
Yes, n how many deaths will it take till he knows
That too many people have died?
The answer, my friend, is blowin in the wind,
The answer is blowin in the wind.

P.S. And amongst all these present life odds, some ppl drink and smoke to get rid of tension!! B***** Hell!

Life is a bundle of the surprises . We need to unfold life to get & spread pleasure out of this . We have to follow what life is all about and guidelines mentioned in the religious direction . We follow the minimum of those to amke sure we are comfertable and think of the immediate pleasure and claim the verus knowledge centre . I am shocked by reading this as well and well say as I quote "DEATH OF A DREAM" .

Nurture the dreams to claim we can spread happiness out of dreams and make world happy society.

This was soooo true...
and rightly said we know what needs to be done in first 2 stages but we are unsure of what to with next to define it as 'success' also...!!

Life as a w?hole......

There's a hole in my soul .. You 'can't' see it on my face,'but' it's a real big place.... Never could I percieve that living life would go out of my plans, would even mean that it can just go 'outbound'...It's feeling something like I am going round and round without my knowledge and the centrifugal force is just causing my life to fly away but it can't...and the net result is causing damn stagnancy..... 24 yrs of life and 1 yr of happiness... Don't I deserve better results? Results of my goodness? Of my hopes ? My wishes? Plans I did make . Hopes I did have . Failed to make out fledgility in the luck front! Alas! The monotony is getting high. Dunno what to do to get out of this frustration. All through one's life one dreams of a stable job, a happy family, all set n settled at its place... n even when I have the first condition true[only though, but still at least something n many of you might well understand that this itself is cl

Kar Salaam....

Then there was life in a Metro...and to be precise, everything was available...and you know how confused one gets if so much is there in front of you and you "think" you don't have time... There is love, success, duty; ego n class to maintain; fun, money n love to make; luxury to do,friends n family to have, dreams to achieve and all in just a lifetime. Yeah, and it's not a morning walk..it is a race. And the moments just fly by.... Hats off to Anurag Basu to make it so well crafted and capture it all.So be it chauvanism, coupling of buffoonism and intelligence, coupling of sacrifice and self-indulgence,loneliness in a crowd , unpredictibilty, happy-go-lucky creatures, losers, achievers, finders(!!....hope u guys can map it all) ,this big a combo can only be possble in a Metro... And the songs...Band Metro is awesome, they just made the perfect framework...maybe the songs put one after the another could say it all... "kyun zindagi se ho shikava gila yeh hasti hai r

Go West

Saw Bazaar and Serendipity back to back. You would understand what I mean if you have seen both. Bazaar is an extraordinary movie, portraying Indian methodology of treating women for love and marriage in larger parts of India. Serendipity talks about believing in destiny for finding and falling in love … Its so ironic that even holding up so many correct ways of leading life, Indian methods still and still falter in such critical issues….and its probably not only related to poverty…Bazaar shows both the poverty driven problems of treating girls and otherwise. Girls are either bought or sold in the wedding process still in larger uneducated parts of India…and from what I hear, in educated classes as well.  Don’t know what shall resolve this deep rooted mindset of treating women? Is it money, education or something else? I believe the institution of arranged marriage system is the cause. It creates more problems than solutions…. It has created this wrong mindset in people and wr
